1. (for you) Describe the person you are interviewing. Give me a mental picture.

I've done this interview with my grandma. Who almost know all about the history of her age. My grandma loves to tell stories from the past and we loved hearing it too. It seems like we are also been on that situation.

2. Where and when were you born? Please describe.

February 18, 1935 born in Pangasinan, Philippines.

During the labor of my grandma's mom there is a midwife at home. She said that in there generation going to that hospital while bearing a baby or giving birth at home is everybody was doing during their generation.

3. In your opinion, what was the most important historical period or event you lived through? Describe.

The World War II. They live in World War II where Philippines and Japanese experienced the war.

Grand: before those Japanese has big dogs and mostly they are tall. I remember during war, some people are jumping the river and soak there and if there's no Japanese soldier they will float. But the strategy we did was, my parents dig a huge hole where w can fit in there and all of our stuffs most especially our food. We mostly eat banana.

4. What is the biggest change you have observed in how people live their everyday lives? Describe.

People are so wise most especially us, Filipinos. They are imiginative, inventive and creative in so many ways.

5. What period of your life has been the best so far? Why?

When I enjoyed my generation everytime there is feast or festival in my place. (In Philippines, different places is celebrating festivals) where you will just enjoy, dancing and eating with friends and families. Although before there is no currents in their place.

6. What's the one thing you have always wanted to do but have not done yet?

To go out to my friend's house but parents doesn't allowed us because the street at night is very dark. Because in my generation there is current but only in selected areas. We only used lamp at home.

7. What advice would you give young people to help them prepare for older age?

They need to explore in life so that they will know the importance and embrace beauty of life.

8. Have you experienced any negative attitudes or discrimination because of your age? Describe.

Yes, Often. Because our generation before has a huge difference in our generation now. Before there is no gadget. We only play top, marbles and chinese garters. But now kids at their young age has already gadgets and can't live without those gadgets.

1. What did you learn from your boomer? Did this surprise you? Explain.

If you are going to read the interview information above. You will get to be amazed as well. Boomer children are just brave to live their life that way. I can't imagine how will I live my life during the war and live in a huge hole and eat there for a long days or weeks. It was just so amazing that they have been surpass those trials they have faced.

2. Did your boomer conform to your mental picture of an older adult? Why or why not.

The explanation was easily to understand just by using some scenario and explanation that is easy to catch up. Because as we all know we cannot easily understand what the old lifestyles are.

3. Did this interview change your opinion about growing older? Explain.

Definitely, yes! And I am pretty sure that you,too.

In this generation, other country or places has still these types or war. And we need to be very mindful with that. I've learned that in life, we need to be very prepared on what might gonna happened.

On the other hand, just be thankful of what you have right now, becuase there are other person who never experienced what you have right now. Respect those people who doesn't experienced how to use gadgets, too. That's what one thing I've noticed.
